The communist state of Arstotzka has just ended a 6-year war with neighboring Kolechia and reclaimed its rightful half of the border town, Grestin. Your job as immigration inspector is to control the flow of people entering the Arstotzkan side of Grestin from Kolechia. Among the throngs of immigrants and visitors looking for work are hidden smugglers, spies, and terrorists.
Using only the documents provided by travelers and the Ministry of Admission’s primitive inspect, search, and fingerprint systems you must decide who can enter Arstotzka and who will be turned away or arrested.
Its truly a magnificent game which immersed me in its world like anyone else. Even though the whole game you will do the same thing, which is inspecting papers its not boring at all. Your basic goal in this game is to feed yourself and your family and provide them anything necessary in order to survive. Depending on your actions (being sloppy, goodhearted or even accept bribery) the money you will bring back to the family table will vary. Sometimes you will not eat, or your sick kid wont be able to receive medication for his illness. Each level gets harder as you progress and the moral choices you must take are burderning. Every action in Papers Please does matter, implied by more than 20 different endings.
Replay Value and Fun Factor
After you see some endings it becomes repetitive but you can boost the games replayability by pinching its difficulty to a higher level.Papers Please might not as jazzy and loud as other games but its truly amazing. Doing your boring everyday job and choosing the fate of incoming immigrants has never been so much fun.
